Preamble

WHEREAS, it is the express purpose of God our Heavenly Father to call out of the world a saved people who shall contribute to the Body of Christ, built and established on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ being the Chief Cornerstone.

WHEREAS, we, as members of the Body of Christ being chartered by Freedom Covenant Global Ministries, referred to herein as FCGM, as a Local Church, the members of Freedom Covenant Church Northwest, known herein as FCCNW, are enjoined to assemble ourselves together for worship, fellowship, counsel, and instruction in the Word of God and the work of the ministry and for the exercise of those spiritual gifts and offices provided for in the New Testament, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED: That we recognize ourselves a body of Christian believers working together for the common purpose of spreading the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and that under the laws of the State of Washington we may exercise all the rights and privileges granted to religious bodies.

Purpose

The specific and primary purpose of FCCNW is to be established as a place of worship under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, to help establish and set in order other places of worship, to conduct the work of evangelism worldwide through (but not limited to) the financial support of missions, to create departments necessary to support missionary activities, to recommend to the FCGM Council of Bishops those individuals who are known to be called by God to His work for License as Ministers of the Gospel and to provide oversight where needed, and to also engage in activities which are necessary, suitable or convenient for the accomplishment of those purposes, or which are incidental thereto or connected therewith which are consistent with Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. 

FCCNW is organized exclusively for religious, charitable, and educational purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code. All funds, whether income or principal, and whether acquired by gift, contribution, or otherwise, shall be devoted to said purposes.
